Andrew Brooks is 41 years old from Felixstowe and was born with Downs Syndrome.
Andrew has studied and gained an NVQ in cooking & Hygiene and works 5 days a week.7
He is a member of “Orwell Panthers Athletic Club” which is a club for Athletes with various disabilities. Andrew has been selected to represent the Eastern Region in the 2017 Special Olympics Great Britain National Games which is to be held in Sheffield.
Andrew has been selected for the Shot-Put, Discus and Javelin events.
The cost for each athlete, Carer and Coach to attend is £565 per person. His family would like to support Andrew and his carers and wish him with all the very best in this competition which may lead to his selection to represent Great Britain in the 2018 Euro Games and the 2019 World Summer Games.
The BASIC LIFE CHARITY has very kindly sponsored Andrew for the full amount so that his carers and coach can attend to cheer him along!
